Rene Corapi Jeffress, Senior Associate with Sabatier Consulting, brings twenty years of direct marketing experience and strategic leadership to prospective clients.
Rene began her career as a marketing analyst at Fingerhut Corporation. She then moved to Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, where she was promoted to circulation manager, responsible for circulation planning and segmentation, new customer acquisition and catalog merchandise profitability analyses.
She followed that as Direct Marketing Manager at Talbot's, where she was also able to design and execute a variety of more focused contact strategies and tests for conversion, retention and reactivation.
Rene then moved to Lands' End, where she was responsible for all new customer acquisition efforts in both traditional and non-traditional media. Lands' End set all-time records in new customer acquisition during her tenure.
Her success at Lands' End led to her appointment as Director of Marketing for Hanna Andersson. After her promotion to Vice President of Marketing, International and Internet, Rene was a member of Hanna's senior management team, responsible for managing sales and profitability. Rene's portfolio included domestic and international circulation (both house file and new customer acquisition), sales forecasting, post-season merchandise analyses and staff recruitment and development.
After Hanna Andersson, Rene served as Vice President of Marketing for French Country Living. In addition to managing all aspects of circulation, Rene managed the catalog production area - overseeing scheduling, paper buying, print contracts and managing staff.
