Linda Ruth, single copy sales
Linda is a Senior Associate with 20 years of experience in magazine circulation. She has held management positions at McGraw-Hill and IDG Communications.
Linda has long been interested in educating publishers. She has conducted seminars on Cover. Linda offers advice on the key to managing newsstand sales. Clients include the Harvard Business Review, Future Network USA, New Bay Media, The Old Farmer's Almanac, Aspire Media, Yankee Magazine, and CMP Media. At PSCS, Linda and the industry professionals she employs have helped more than 100 publishers create effective distribution plans, enabling them to maximize their single copy sales. She has helped launch dozens of new publications on the newsstand.
Ms. Ruth is one of the original founders of Women in Periodical Publishing and a current board member. She is a member of the Folio Advisory Board, and her contributions have been recognized with the Folio Ozzie award.
For years, Linda has imparted newsstand sales secrets through regular columns in numerous industry trade publications.
In addition to her work for individual clients, Linda is also President of Newsstands of America, a retail chain with more than $52 million in annual magazine sales.
