Debra Bates-Schrott, design
Debra is a Senior Consultant with Sabatier Consulting. She has devoted 15 years to creative art direction, magazine design, brand and marketing collateral development. In that time, she has won some 60 awards for her design, web, and logo work for organizations as diverse as PeopleSoft, Primedia Business Exhibitions, the Pentagon Memorial Fund, and the U.S. Marine Corps.
Debra is intimately involved with every client project; drafting designs, critiquing, establishing great client relationships, and taking the lead on project development.
Prior to launching Bates Creative Group, where she is Creative Director, Debra was managing partner and co-founder of a Washington D.C. area firm. She worked on publications such as All Hands Magazine, Latina Style, as well as for Red Herring and others.
Debra served on the Board of the Directors for both the Florida Magazine Association (FMA) and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). She speaks regularly at industry conferences and serves as a judge for numerous creative competitions, including the Folio: Ozzie Awards.
She received a B.F.A. degree from the Corcoran School of Art, Washington, D.C.
