Angus Robertson, strategy & licensing

Angus Robertson, a Senior Consultant with Sabatier Consulting, is known for fostering creative ideas and translating strategic vision into practical and profitable results. With a proven record of developing and implementing rapid growth plans, Angus has consistently shown strong leadership, particularly in the online media industry.

Angus serves as a strategic business adviser to corporations, not-for-profit and early stage enterprises. Services include business plan development and analysis, branding and positioning, media relations strategy and organizational development.

In almost 20 years with Knight-Ridder Inc., he managed the transformation of a specialized agricultural newswire into a global financial news service used by most of the world's top financial institutions. In 1996 he was closely involved in the sale of Knight-Ridder's financial information business to Bridge Information Systems, which he joined as Executive Vice President. At Bridge, he applied Bridge's leading-edge technology to seamlessly integrate news content with related data graphics and video and managed a news organization of more than 500 staff members in 100 locations around the world. He was then actively involved in the sale of Bridge in 2001.

Angus was a founding board member of WebFN, which provides streaming financial content to financial institutions and Web sites. He was also a member of the Board of FutureSource, a provider of news and information to the commodities industry.

A graduate of Knight-Ridder's Executive Leadership Program, Angus grew up in England, where he studied at Shrewsbury College.
